Daniel Ramos is a highly accomplished security expert and law enforcement professional, currently serving as the President and CEO of Lateralus Group. With a career spanning over 25 years in federal law enforcement, Daniel has dedicated his life to enhancing safety and security through innovative solutions and expert training.

Daniel’s journey in law enforcement began with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he held various critical roles, including Assistant Special Agent in Charge in El Paso, TX. In this capacity, he oversaw the Criminal, National Security, and Crisis/Intel/Admin branches, managing SWAT, Evidence Response, Surveillance/Tech/Aviation programs, and Joint Terrorism and Safe Streets Task Forces. His leadership was instrumental during the crisis and investigative response to the 2019 El Paso Walmart shooting.

In his current role at Lateralus Group, Daniel leads a team of seasoned experts in delivering comprehensive safety and security solutions to schools, law enforcement, government entities, businesses, places of worship, and private individuals. His company specializes in risk/threat assessments, Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT), firearms qualifications, and tactical operations. Daniel’s commitment to empowering clients through knowledge and training is evident in his development of advanced training programs, including workplace violence prevention, active shooter response, and threat mitigation.

Daniel holds various certifications, including FBI Hostage Negotiator, ALERRT Instructor, TCOLE Firearms Instructor, and is NIMS-Certified in the Incident Command System. He is also a Texas Licensed Private Investigator and a Texas School Safety Center Credentialed Consultant.
